Terms & Conditions

  1. Please note that receipt of the course fee confirms your child’s place. Payment for swimming lessons should be made either in full for the term or through a payment plan. We require 30 days' notice prior to the cancellation of any swim school place.

  2. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, except at the express discretion of the manager.

  3. Parents/guardians must remain in the vicinity of the swimming pool during their child’s lesson. They are responsible for providing any required medication (such as inhalers or EpiPens), which should be brought poolside. While Dolphin Swim School does its utmost to ensure a safe environment, your child participates in lessons entirely at their own risk.

  4. Please ensure your child finishes eating at least one hour before their swimming lesson. Unfortunately, we are unable to replace or refund lessons missed due to pool contamination.

  5. If your child has suffered from sickness or diarrhoea, please ensure they are fully recovered (at least 48 hours after the last episode) before returning to swimming lessons.

  6. In the event of an unforeseen pool closure, we will endeavour to reschedule any missed lessons at the earliest opportunity. This may be during holiday time, subject to pool availability.

  7. Due to the scheduling of all lessons and the progression of your child's swimming ability, it may occasionally be necessary to adjust their lesson time slightly. We will make every effort to keep sibling swim times as close together as possible and will notify you in advance of any changes.

  8. By completing a booking form and enrolling your child in swim lessons, you consent to Dolphin Swim School securely storing your child’s personal and medical data for the duration of their time with the school. This information is used solely for the administration of the swim school and to ensure their safety while in the pool. Data may be retained for up to 12 months after your child leaves the swim school, after which it will be securely deleted.

  9. All children must have a completed booking form before commencing lessons at Dolphin Swim School. By completing the booking form, you confirm that you have disclosed all known medical information affecting your child. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to ensure this information remains accurate and to inform Dolphin Swim School immediately of any changes to their child’s health or emergency contact details.
