I started Dolphin Swim School in August 2005 having taught swimming locally for over 25 years This was the realisation of a long held dream.

My sister Diane England and I, started the Swim School with 3 weeks of crash courses with only thirty children. Diane has over 20 years of experience working with young children. 

We are delighted with how well the lessons have been received as we now have over 200 children attending classes each week with 7 qualified teachers and 1 helper.

We provide childrens lessons from age 4 upwards with ranging abilities from complete beginners up to pre club swimming. We also run Parent/Baby and Parent/Toddler classes on Wednesday mornings.

Our ethos is 'small, happy classes with the emphasis on learning through enjoyment'.

I am very lucky to have been able to build an enthusiastic, professional and caring team , who are dedicated and enjoy teaching children to swim.

We are affiliated to the Amateur Swimming Associaton and follow the National Plan for Swimming as devised by them.
